BREAK THE PATTERN
We all live in patterns, the repetition of our daily lives and work, and it’s time to shake things up. For the call for entries and promotional materials for the 2016 Design MMoCA event, we wanted to invite artists and patrons to Break the Pattern. The posters feature the human element, created by using a displacement map over a 2-color pattern. For the event, we developed an application that used a webcam to project their broken pattern image live on the walls of MMoCA.
